White House Visitors List

Enough already. My earlier decision to keep the White House Visitors List private as part of my Presidential Records has created a blizzard of criticism. When I made my campaign promise of openness and transparency, I meant it at the time. I still do in most cases.

Let me be clear on this. I do not believe that it is anyone's business whom I meet with behind the closed door of my Oval Office. Plain and simple. If you were in my position, you would probably believe the same thing.

However. The last thing I need right now is for people to start complaining that I am not keeping my campaign promises. That I am just like the Previous Administration.
