Are you ready for some egg-cellent fun? Look no further than the White House Easter Egg Roll!
This annual event is a time-honored tradition that takes place on the South Lawn of the White House.
Over forty thousand people participated in 2024's Easter “EGGucation” Roll on Easter Monday including thousands of
military and veteran families, caregivers, and survivors. Additional lucky guests from across the country received tickets through a free online lottery.

Each state held an egg design contest for children of National Guard members. Selected designs were brought to life on real eggs by artists and displayed at the White House during the Easter season.
The South Lawn was transformed into a school community featuring a School House Activity Area, Reading Nook, Entertainment Stage,
Field Trip to the Farm, Picture Day, a Physical “EGGucation” Zone, Snack Time and more. And of course plenty of egg
rolling and egg hunts.

The 2024 eggs have a rabbit reading a book on the front and the White House with POTUS and FLOTUS signatures on the back. The special Biden Blue egg features First Pets Commander and Willow.
You can purchase the wooden eggs here.
The easiest way to get to the White House is by taking
the Metro or using a rideshare app. The closest Metrorail stations to the White House are Farragut West and Federal Triangle which are both on the Blue, Orange, and Silver lines
If you do decide to drive, you can find publicly available parking lots and garages at Colonial Parking, LAZ Parking,
