Next Time We'll Photoshop
By now, you've seen the $328,835 photo of Air Force One flying over the Statue of Liberty. You've
heard the apologies; you know about the resignation of the director of the White House military
office, Louis Caldera.
It was an unfortunate event and I would like to put it behind us; it's
time to move on.
With a projected deficit of $1.75 trillion by year-end, it goes without
saying we cannot afford to spend that kind of money on a photo op.
You have to admit though, the
photo was terrific. When times are tough, Americans need something to hold onto; something to make us
feel proud.
That's why I am excited to share the following photos with you. I had a little
free time last night after dinner, so I fired up the Photoshop and went to work. At a real-world cost
of $328,835 each, I figure I saved the American taxpayers over $1.3 million in under a half hour.
And that's more than pocket change you can believe in.
