Next Time We'll Photoshop

Air Force One flying over the Statue of Liberty in New York City
By now, you've seen the $328,835 photo of Air Force One flying over the Statue of Liberty. You've heard the apologies; you know about the resignation of the director of the White House military office, Louis Caldera.

It was an unfortunate event and I would like to put it behind us; it's time to move on.

With a projected deficit of $1.75 trillion by year-end, it goes without saying we cannot afford to spend that kind of money on a photo op.

You have to admit though, the photo was terrific. When times are tough, Americans need something to hold onto; something to make us feel proud.

That's why I am excited to share the following photos with you. I had a little free time last night after dinner, so I fired up the Photoshop and went to work. At a real-world cost of $328,835 each, I figure I saved the American taxpayers over $1.3 million in under a half hour.

And that's more than pocket change you can believe in.

Nope, this is not the official website of The White House. It's a parody of whitehouse.gov.  No person, department, or agency of the U.S. Government approved, endorsed, or authorized this site. No animals were harmed while making this website (except maybe that one time when I was a little late feeding my dog his dinner).
