Reaching Out to Rush

Let's face it. Rush Limbaugh is the voice and the intellectual force and energy behind the Republican Party. I made a promise to the American people to reach across the aisle and strive to find a common ground. What better way to show my commitment to the spirit of bipartisanship than to invite Rush Limbaugh to be an important part of the Obama Administration?

I've thought about it long and hard. What would be an appropriate role for someone who understands what it means to be noxious, invasive, undesirable, persistent, and pernicious?

I was looking out the window of the Oval Office this morning watching the yard guy spraying weeds when I was struck by a flash of inspiration. Rush would be the perfect choice to head up the Federal Interagency Committee for the Management of Noxious and Exotic weeds (FICMNEW).

There are lots of weeds out there. I hope Rush doesn't fail. Perhaps the poison he spews can finally be put to some good use.
